Who will Rendcomb College suit?
Young people with good academic abilities but who recognise the value of putting in the effort to become fully-rounded citizens of the world. The many different nationalities easily blend with pupils from the local area. There are multiple opportunities to study music, drama and the arts, along with more traditional UK A-level subjects. The pupils have a strong sense of caring for their environment and each other.
Many move on to top UK universities with a few applications each year to Oxford and Cambridge. Artistic destinations also feature strongly. Recent investment in new IT facilities and strong academic support in that area have given an added boost to those students wanting to pursue computer and maths based studies.
Settling-In at Rendcomb College
Younger students are closely cared for by an enthusiastic and experienced group of boarding house parents. As the youngsters mature, more freedoms are given to allow a sense of independence and responsibility to emerge. Any pupil with any need would be quickly looked after, including by the Headmaster’s wife who helps create a strong family atmosphere.

ASIS View of Rendcomb College
Set in beautiful English parkland in the Cotswolds, this former country house, owned by one of the UK’s most benevolent educational philanthropists, is now home to around 400 international and UK students who achieve very good academic results in an atmosphere which encourages personal responsibility and independent learning. The Headmaster is a former Eton housemaster and has brought the spirit of academic inquiry from his previous school, placing it within a happy family atmosphere which encourages pupils to support each other to bring out their best.
