For over 50 years, Canterbury Christ Church University (CCCU) has provided people worldwide with a rich academic and professional education. Services for International Students
If you’re finding it difficult to adjust to leaving home and living in a new country, are struggling with your studies, or have finance or accommodation issues, CCCU’s highly trained staff are ready to help. Before arrival, an International Student Welcome Guide is emailed to all new international students. At the same time, social media services offer helpful tips and information throughout the year to help students with any query or concern.

REF 2021's results show how Canterbury Christ Church University is delivering tangible changes and solving real problems via its world leading research that is relevant to the communities in Kent and Medway, as well as across the UK and around the world.
The assessment showed that more than 60% of the University’s research and almost 85% of its impact was judged to be in the top two categories of world-leading (4*) and internationally excellent (3*). The volume of work also increased, with 50% more staff submitting research for assessment than in 2014.

Canterbury’s accessibility (less than one hour from London!) and vast attractions make it an extremely popular destination for visitors worldwide. Canterbury, home to the main campus, is famous worldwide for its cathedral, history and beauty, and is one of the safest university cities in the country. The town of Broadstairs is the seaside creative centre, and students who study here can take inspiration from its beautiful beaches and stunning scenery. Finally, the Medway campus features award-winning buildings and brand new purpose-built facilities and is a 40-minute train ride away from London.
