Hartpury University is amongst the UK’s leading specialist education providers in agriculture, animal, equine, sport and veterinary nursing.

Located in Gloucestershire, our 360-hectare campus is home to over 4,000 university and college-level students studying degrees, A-levels and diplomas, as well as undertaking cutting-edge industry research.

Research carried out by Hartpury University, submitted as part of the Research Excellence Framework (REF) 2021 process, has been recognised as ‘world-leading’ and ‘internationally excellent’, placing Hartpury amongst a prestigious group of well-established institutions.

Three main areas were independently assessed by UoA Panels; analysis of outputs (60%), impact (25%) and research environment (15%). Each component is assessed using a star-rating with 3* research regarded as ‘internationally excellent’ and 4* research recognised as ‘world-leading’.

Accommodation

Students can choose to live on-campus surrounded by Gloucestershire’s beautiful countryside or off-campus in the heart of Gloucester City centre.
