Overview

Cambridge Tutors College (CTC) is based in an easily accessible location in the Park Hill area of South London. CTC offers an attractive and safe environment in which each student can flourish. Since being founded in 1958, CTC have grown into one of the UK’s leading international Colleges.

Careful monitoring of academic progress and weekly subject testing lie at the heart of CTC’s commitment to high academic standards, with small class sizes of no more than 9 being of huge benefit to students. Exam results are consistently high and in 2015, 56% of A-Levels taken were awarded an A or A* grade. Expert guidance and support during the university application process also helps to explain why so many CTC students succeed in securing places at leading universities. In 2015, a large majority of students chose to go on to a Russell Group University with many opting for Medicine, Bio sciences, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Architecture, Law, and Engineering.

Accommodation

The College provides accommodation through its Homestay programme. Students live with local families who have been carefully selected by the Accommodation Officer and a variety of host families can offer different diets and facilities. The houses are located in good residential areas, either within walking distance or a short bus or tram ride from the College.

Location

The College is situated on the outskirts of London in Croydon – just twenty minutes from the heart of the capital city. Croydon itself is undergoing a £1 billion redevelopment programme that will lead to new homes and an impressive new shopping centre. The vibrant, multi-cultural environment means there are many opportunities to fully sample life in London.

SI-UK's service is fast, reliable and efficient. Their consultants are specialists, working closely with all UK universities and, through my personal advice and application assistance, I was able to receive offers from my favorite universities.
